I borrowed this book when I first started playing. I needed something to break up the seemingly endless guitar techniques. This book was great for helping me focus on certain things and how they relate to the other techniques. The CD is great for timing and learning how to play with the band.
Excellent variety of rock and pop basics presented in a careful and thoughtful manner.
